Celebrate Ellie’s Birthday with MCP March 23!

Birthday Bash to Collect Feminine Hygiene products for local women in need

MoonCatcher Project Founder and Executive Director Ellie von Wellsheim wants only one birthday gift: menstrual hygiene supplies that the MoonCatcher Project will donate through local shelters and food pantries.

Sadly, women in our own communities need menstrual supplies. Women here cannot buy tampons and pads with food stamps, and girls here miss school during their periods when their families can’t afford them.

The MoonCatcher Project partners with helping organizations here to meet this need including The Junior League of Schenectady and Saratoga Counties, the City Mission, Girl Scouts of Northern New York Cadette Troop, the Schenectady YWCA, and the Social Justice Committee of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Schenectady, which hosts Ellie’s Birthday celebration and menstrual supplies collection event.

If your birthday is March 15 to April 15, we have a special surprise for you!

Join us

March 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Unitarian universalist society in Schenectady.

Bring disposable menstrual hygiene supplies to donate.

Enjoy some birthday cake, donate menstrual supplies, meet Ellie and hear about The MoonCatcher Project.
